Commissioned by Christina Wright-Ivanova for her father’s 85th birthday
Program note:
This solo piano piece was written in honor of Mark Wright’s 85th birthday. It is based on a poem that Mark wrote in 19xx which depicts the beautiful snow leopard. Before writing this piece, I studied the movement and character of the snow leopard and tried to capture that essence in the work.
